Set Up a Proper Shell
The containers used in this course demo project run Linux. There will be some CLI work done in the container shell, opened via the
docker exec command "executing" the
bash. All Docker work will be CLI-based as well.
Those familiar with Unix-like systems already know how to use terminal and shell as the command line environment. In Windows, the "Command Prompt" used to be the terminal equivalent in the old DOS days. If you still use it - stop and move on the Windows "PowerShell". It even understands some Unix commands
